Division of Renal Medicine
The Emory University Renal Medicine training program offers excellent clinical and bench clinical research experiences coupled with opportunities for further training as a research or clinician scientist and as a general or transplant nephrologist.
The clear strength of the Division of Renal Medicine is an outstanding faculty comprised of 37 faculty, 50 staff and post-docs and 11 GME funded fellowship positions. More than 16 of the Division of Renal Medicine faculty are principal investigators on federal and non-federal grants. The division also has an NIH Training Grant, currently in its 24thyear, to support the training of the next generation of nephrology researchers, both MDs and PhDs and a R25 to support summer research experiences for undergraduate students.
