PGY-1

  • Diagnoses and treatment of patients with a wide range of diseases
  • Experience diverse hospital settings and exposure to broad range of potential careers

  • Begin teaching patients, students, and peers
  • Competency in diagnosis and management
  • Select mentor for career guidance and research

  • Broaden diagnostics and management skills

  • Enhance teaching skills
  • Select career pathway
  • Continue mentored research and scholarship
  • Prepare abstract for submission to meeting
  • Further develop ambulatory skills
