The annual Emory Department of Medicine Research Day celebrates research efforts across the department. The event brings together researchers from all divisions and provides an excellent opportunity to share exciting new findings, facilitate scientific exchange, and identify potential new collaborations.
Join us for this annual quality forum and networking opportunity for researchers to learn about ongoing quality, effectiveness and value-based research activities within the Woodruff Health Sciences Center. This Advancing Healthcare Quality Research at Emory ("Quality Day") forum will focus on interactive discussions, the generation of novel approaches to quality and value-based research and stimulating interdisciplinary collaboration across the Emory campus. The Research Resources Workshop is a monthly educational series designed to help researchers learn about a single valuable, and in some cases underutilized, research resource and walk away feeling that you know how to use it and where to get started.
- Introduce early career and established investigators to research resources available at Emory University
- Provide information about the access and use of individual clinical and basic research resources
- Encourage and enhance the efforts and efficiency of the research community
Topics will range from clinical to basic and will include subjects like electronic resources, regulatory support, consultative services and core facilities.

The Emory University Department of Medicine created Blue Sky Groups to stimulate research interactions and identify potential areas of collaboration by bringing together Emory investigators with similar interests but diverse expertise who might not otherwise interact.

Just like an external visiting professorship, this program offers faculty the opportunity to spend a day in a division other than that of their own, exchanging ideas and knowledge, ultimately building both collaboration and collegiality.
