Conferences
Renal Grand Rounds is held every Tuesday afternoon, at which faculty and guests present basic research, clinical research, and clinical nephrology.
During the summer, a Core Lecture Series in Clinical Nephrology is presented by the faculty in lieu of Grand Rounds. Fellows Journal Club is held every Friday morning, at which 4-5 seminal research and clinical papers are presented and discussed by the fellows under faculty supervision.
Renal Biopsy Conference is held on Friday mornings after Journal Club, at which basic renal pathology is taught through presentation of actual cases. In addition, all biopsies performed by the Renal Division are reviewed with nephropathologists in a state-of-the-art sign-out room. Renal Division Research Conference is held every Wednesday morning, at which research fellows present work in progress.
