Program Overview
The primary mission of the Emory University Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine training
program is to train the next generation of academicians seeking careers as a clinical scientist, clinician educator or basic science researcher. To achieve this goal, our program incorporates strong clinical and research components with a diverse group of opportunities in each. We believe that this breadth of experiences allows trainees to tailor the program to best suit their academic needs.
The training program consists of 18 months of clinical
training and 18 months of mentored research activity.
