Biography

Dr. Anderson is an associate professor at Emory with a dual appointment in School of Medicine Departments of Pediatrics and Medicine, Divisions of Infectious Diseases. His research interests include vaccine clinical trials, vaccine-preventable diseases, and epidemiology. He is the lead investigator of the Emory Children’s Center arm of the Emory Vaccine Treatment and Evaluation Unit (VTEU) and a Co-PI of the Emory VTEU. He also serves as the Georgia Emerging Infections Program (EIP) lead investigator for influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). He is also involved with multiple other epidemiology surveillance projects including rotavirus, RSV, and influenza.
