Application Information

This program is designed for applicants who are interested in practicing, teaching, and/or doing research in general internal medicine. The three-year program qualifies residents to sit for the boards in internal medicine. To apply, indicate your interest in the Primary Care Residency by using the designated match number, 111317. A faculty member from the division of General Medicine will interview you, and you will have the opportunity to meet other members of the division's faculty and residents. You can rank the Primary Care Residency as your first choice, however, this does not preclude you from also interviewing and ranking in order of preference our Categorical and and/or Preliminary Residency programs.

For more information about the Primary Care Residency Program, please email Dr. Higgins

Please note that we only accept applications via ERAS. Paper applications are not accepted. Read about the ERAS process at the AAMC ERAS site.
