Ambassador Program
We are pleased to announce creation of the Ambassador Program, a new program developed to enrich the experience of newly hired Department of Medicine faculty. The Ambassador program is designed to both welcome and improve the new hire experience by partnering experienced faculty with recent hires to ease their transition to the Department and Emory.
The goals of the program are to introduce the new faculty to site-specific logistical information, ensure new faculty are aware of the tools available through the Faculty Development Office and to serve as a resource for both professional and personal adjustment in the new position.
The current Ambassador program will focus on the new faculty hires at Emory University, the Veterans Administration Hospital, Grady Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown. The program will include Ambassadors from across the department in both the clinical and basic science arenas.
