Dr. Andrews received his degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. His post graduate medical training includes an Internal Medicine Residency at Emory. Dr. Andrews attends on the medical inpatient service at Grady and will also serve as a physician and supervisor of care in the Primary Care Center there.
Nana Arthur, MD

Dr. Arthur received her medical degree from Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. Her post graduate medical training includes an Internal Medicine Residency at Hospital of St. Raphael’s, New Haven, Connecticut. In addition she has completed her fellowship in Geriatric medicine at Emory in June 2008. Dr. Arthur serves as a hospitalist at Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital.
Jefferson Baer, MD

Dr. Baer received his medical degree from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Medicine. His post graduate medical training includes an Internal Medicine Residency at University of Pennsylvania and a Cardiology fellowship at University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Baer is a general cardiologist, based at Crawford Long. His responsibilities include outpatient office service, inpatient rounding, nuclear and echo interpretations. Dr. Baer also is responsible for ECLH inpatient teaching service. His outreach responsibilities include two half-day sessions per week at a Cardiac Outreach office. He will also work with Dr. Larry Sperling to build the preventive cardiology program in preventative cardiology at ECLH.

Dr. Jacob received his degree from University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. His post graduate medical training includes an Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic as well as a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Emory University which he completed in June 2008. Dr. Jacob is working on the Infectious Diseases inpatient service and is also developing a clinical research program in the area of healthcare epidemiology.

Dr. Khazai received her degree from University of Missouri, Columbia. She is based at Grady and serves Grady Diabetes and Endocrinology clinics as well as the Diabetes Management Program (DMP). He will conduct research on Heart Failure and Myocardial Biology under the continued mentorship of Dr. Ahsan Husain.
