Faculty Development

The Emory Department of Medicine Office of Faculty Development provides support programs and development opportunities for our faculty who contribute daily to outstanding patient care, research and teaching activities.  Our efforts promote an environment of continued development and engaged faculty, aiding the Department of Medicine in attracting and retaining world-class faculty.

Staff Development

The Emory University Department of Medicine encourages its staff to take advantage of the skill building and leadership development opportunities offered through Emory’s Learning and Organizational Development office.  

Internal Research Resources

Do you need guidance with your research activities at Emory?  The Department of Medicine’s Office of Research offers funding opportunities, grant and manuscript writing resources, biostatistics and data analytics support, and numerous events and other resources to help you navigate the complexities of conducting research at Emory.  These resources are open to Department of Medicine researchers at all stages of their careers, including faculty, fellows, postdocs, students, and residents who are engaged in research activities in the clinical, basic science, quality improvement, and health services research areas.

Community Service

The Emory University Department of Medicine’s Project M-PACT initiative provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and trainees to connect with other and give back to the local community through efforts such as Meals on Wheels, annual Toy Drive and the Hunger Walk.
