I have a suggestion for a volunteer opportunity. How can I get it listed?

Great! We are always looking for more ways for our faculty and staff to participate. Please give us all of the details.

I have an organization with which the Department of Medicine should partner. How can I get it listed?

Great! We are eager to create a comprehensive network of organizations that share our interests in impacting the community. Please email us and let us know about your organization.

It's really hard for me to find time to volunteer. How else can I support these efforts?

You are not alone. It’s a struggle to find time to volunteer, but even 1 or 2 times a year can be fulfilling for you and helpful to our partner organizations. Browse the full list of other opportunities, see the homepage, or view our calendar for events and projects that require short time commitments. Alternatively, if you would like to contribute financially to these efforts, please contact Maura George, MD.

What if I don't know anyone else participating?

One of our goals for Project M-PACT is to foster new friendships across divisions. Please come and meet other people in the department!

Can I bring my spouse, kids, or friends outside Emory to volunteer as well?

Almost all of our events are open to any participants with a general “The more the merrier” policy. If an event is not suitable for young children or is Emory Department of Medicine exclusive, the condition will be detailed in the event summary. For events not sponsored by DOM, please see the event description.
