History behind this effort:
For several years, the Cardiology Division (and as of 2011, in partnership with DOM) has conducted a holiday toy drive for local children in need through CASA. These children are often victims of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, while others are neglected or abandoned by their own parents. Often overlooked during the holidays, they spend this time in group homes as a part of the Fulton County child welfare system because they have yet to be placed with foster families.

In 2012, generous donors contributed over $9,000 and we were able to support a total of 69 children!
