Our program sponsors one-year positions in the preliminary and transitional tracks. The preliminary positions are reserved for applicants matching into Emory's Radiation Oncology or Neurology residency programs. The transitional positions are reserved for applicants matching into advanced training in Emory's Anesthesiology, Radiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, or Dermatology residency programs. Additional positions may be used for Emory University School of Medicine graduates who wish to complete their transitional year at Emory before advanced training at another institution.

There are no required interviews for a position in the Preliminary Track. Preliminary positions are automatically awarded to candidates who match with Emory in the radiation oncology or neurology residency program.
