Research
The Division of Rheumatololgy at Emory School of Medicine is committed to involvement in research and playing an active role in the development of increased knowledge and new treatment regimens in the field of rheumatic diseases. With Grady Memorial Hospital serving as the primary hub for our research activities, we participate in research projects that focus on Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus or SLE). The research is a mixture of clinical studies, social/behavioral and epidemiological projects. A wide range of basic and translational research is coordinated through a partnership with the Lowance Center for Human Immunology at Emory University.
