Patient Care in the Division of Rheumatology

Utilizing the most up-to-date treatment regimens, the Division of Rheumatology at Emory University focuses on the management of symptoms related to over 100 types of arthritis and connective tissue diseases. This can include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and scleroderma. Rheumatology faculty is available to see patients at several Emory affiliated locations.

At Crawford Long Hospital

Dr. Sam Lim sees patients in a Lupus Clinic on Wednesday mornings. Appointments can by made by calling 404-686-8339.  Patients should ask specifically for a lupus clinic appointment.
 
At Grady Hospital

A Rheumatology Clinic operates at Grady weekly on Mondays and Thursday mornings. New patients must obtain a Grady Card (404-616-6923) and be referred to the Rheumatology Clinic from either the Urgent Care Center, General Medicine Clinics, or the Emergency Room.   Established patients can make appointments by calling 404-616-2501 after 3:00pm on Mondays.

A Lupus Clinic operates at Grady weekly on Tuesdays.  Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus can be seen in the Grady Lupus Clinic after obtaining a Grady Card. Call Dr. Sam Lim for details at 404-616-3642.

At the Atlanta VA Medical Center

Patients at the Atlanta VA Medical Center can be directed to the Rheumatology Clinic through their primary care team.
