Welcome to the Division of Rheumatology
The Division is comprised of eleven full-time faculty who serve the clinical needs of the Grady Health System, the Veterans Administration Hospital, The Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospital and Emory Midtown.
In addition, a team of four pediatric rheumatologists provides care and participates in research through the Emory Children's Center at the affiliated Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Emory has a two-year rheumatology subspecialty training program, entering three subspecialty fellows one year and three in the alternate year for a total of six fellows in a given two-year period. In addition, one of the second year subspecialty fellows is offered a third year research fellowship.
Rheumatology at Emory is dedicated to excellence in the clinical care of patients and the education of medical students, medicine residents, and rheumatology subspecialty residents. The Division is also committed to involvement in research and playing an active role in the development of increased knowledge and new treatment regimens in the field of rheumatic diseases.
